International Hydraulic Academy Was Inaugurated

New research and training centre in Dresden with little effort much move afford hydraulic applications in more and more areas. “Yet, whether in agriculture (tractors), aerospace (landing gear and flaps) or in your own car (brakes): the applications of this fluid technique” are becoming increasingly complex and more complicated – qualified staff for the circumference with the technology are scarce in the labour market. That should now change: the new building of the international hydraulic Academy (IHA) was opened on May 22, 2009. Three areas were built on an area of 2,500 square meters since April 2008 in Dresden commercial area:-a modern education and further education institution for the hydraulic sector. The seminar centre – it includes around 700 square metres offers two rooms for each 25, as well as a room for 8 students. The teachers who intensively supervise the participants, coming from practice or from vocational schools; Fellowships and internships in companies are integrated. The IHA is approved educational institution according to the recognition and “Approval regulation training” (AZWV) for the promotion of vocational training.

This makes it possible for entrepreneurs, their employees to the IHA schools allow and to apply for a promotion – for example in the form of a training voucher. -A research and development area for the fluid technology”on 1,100 square metres there are manufacturer-independent and neutral hydraulic components and systems. We meet on research and development through intensive cooperation with the Technical University and the University of Dresden”, as Jurgen Bottger, head of the IHA. So it is in the new area of research, you can dynamically and integrally investigate hydraulic systems. “Bottger: this modern and powerful equipment with the latest measuring and evaluation software provided us.” The research is not the new IHA building limited to was also investing in mobile measurement. It enables measurements directly on site at the Equipment the operators”, explains Bottger.

The practical results obtained in this way are incorporated into the development of the fluid-technology and ensure a realistic development. -A gear pump production was built on another 400 square meters. In total around eight million euros were invested in the construction of the international hydraulic Academy significantly promoted by the Sachsische AufbauBank and the European Union. The Internationale Hydraulik Akademie GmbH: The IHA is one of the leading research institutes and training centres in the field of management and fluid technology. The range of services includes the development and testing of products and targeted training and mediation of correct dealing with the technology in daily practice. The IHA offers seminars for this, which provide the necessary expertise and train the professional handling of the technology. Core competence is to combine in-depth scientific work and its practical application. To do this, the IHA works closely with Universities and colleges as well as cooperative with the industry. This can be minimized error rates and optimization of products and processes the cost decrease, operating times are longer, sustainably increases the efficiency.
