Silleteros Parade
In
this occasion the X International Congress on Paracoccidioido
mycosis will be accompanied by the celebration of the flower
fair, the most important yearly event in the city. Inhabitants
from the different villages prepare real works of art with fresh
cut flowers, which they then carry on their backs showing them
to the public. These are called “silletas”. The main event in
the festival is this silleteros parade.
