Scholarships available for graduate students
interested in poster presentations during
the X International Congress on Paracoccidioidomycosis

 

The Organizing Committee of the Congress is pleased to announce the availability of a reduced number (8) of scholarships for non-Colombian residents consisting on registration fee and an airline ticket from the place of residence to Medellin, Colombia and vice versa. The following are the conditions for participation:

1- To be a pre- or post-graduate student working on his (her) thesis preferably on the subject of paracoccidioidomycosis/Paracoccidioides brasiliensis.

2- To send a certificate from his (her) tutor indicating that the applicant belongs to his (her) group. No recommendation is required, only a statement indicating the field in which the applicant is working.

3- To send an abstract of the poster to be presented at the meeting, according to the instructions offered in the Congress web page: www.pcm2008.org before April 18, 2008. Abstract should be written in English.

4- To furnish the indications needed to issue the airline ticket. (see below)

Two scientists will be appointed by the Congress for the selection of the 8 best abstracts. The names of those selected will be posted in the web page
by May 5th.

NOTE: The winners will have to defray their hotel costs, certain meals and miscellaneous expenditures such as airport taxes.
